Chrysler Valiant Hemi 6cyl New 480 Holley Carburettor Conversion Kit
This is the brand new and improved Holley 2 Barrel 480CFM Carburettor designed and manufactured in Australia to suit all Chrysler Valiant models with a HEMI 245 or 265 engine and 2brl factory carb. Carb is sized at 480cfm with annular boosters fitted for improved atomisation at low air speed and bottom end torque. Metering block re-calibrated: main, power and pump circuits to suit the 6cyl engine to maximize fuel economy and power!

This carb is recommended for modified and race engines!
The kit supplied gives you everything you need to allow you to bolt the carburettor on and drive with very little modifications required. Included is a brand new, CNC Machined adapter plate that we get made locally that brings you guaranteed strength and longevity in its lifetime compared to alloy adapter plates which tend to warp and crack as age comes. It also comes with gaskets, needed fuel and PCV hoses and a 9" Chromed Sports air filter.
Kit also includes a set of instructions to help guide you through your installation.The kit is designed for the everyday home user that has a small range of tools and slight mechanical knowledge.
The Holley will provide you with that extra power when you need it as it is a larger carburettor allowing more air to flow through compared to the old carburettor. Fuel consumption isn't compensated and is a must if you are looking for something that is easy to service, work with and to keep reliably. The original Carter carburettors are not made brand new today, only cheap, Chinese copies are made. This is a genuine, brand new Holley that is hand built in our workshop on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
The Holley will work on both Manual and Automatic Transmissions. PLEASE STATE YOUR TRANSMISSION TYPE AT TOP OF PAGE BEFORE CHECKOUT! This is needed as there are slight modifications we need to do to the carburettor and Kit components to allow you to put your kick-down cable back on to. The Holley will also work on L.P Gas. Please state whether you are running Dual Fuel upon checkout as the Carburettor will need to be prepared to suit Gas (Teflon Bushes, Solid Nitryphyl Float, Sealed against air leaks)
If you already have gas fitted to your old carb, you will need to change your gas mixer. (please phone us for help you with this).
The kit is supplied with no choke(recommended for duel fuel). Manual choke and Electric choke options are available. Please state which option you would like at the top of the page. We engineer all our conversion kits in our workshop on the Sunshine coast, QLD. Substantial research and development is put into our kits before we advertise them on the net. This will ensure optimum performance, economy and easy installation. We stand by our products and offer full technical help and will answer any questions you may have, just give us a call.

Warranty
Recarb warranties both its new and reconditioned carburetors as well as it’s re-manufactured carburetors, to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase.
This warranty specifically does not apply to products which have been
· Modified
· Subjected to adverse conditions such as misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or adjustment, dirt, water, other contaminants or faulty repair.
This warranty is extended to the original consumer only.
In the event of an alleged defect, RECARBs responsibility is strictly limited to repair or replace the defective product. RECARB will have the sole discretion for final warranty determination. RECARB shall not be responsible for: other labour, transportation or other incidental charges, consequential or other damages incurred by use of any RECARB product. Products returned are to have freight pre-paid.
A note on warranty: Problems happen. We all wish to solve them as easily as possible. Most problems are solved with a simple PH call, and our quick inspection.
